Dr. David C. Williams, PhD, LCPC, MA

David and his wife have been in the Mt. Airy area since 1982. They have raised three sons. They attend Church of the Redeemer in Gaithersburg, MD. David has a calling to help children and their families. He believes that local churches have a supportive caring function to play in the community. Churches offer a healing community that is needed by every family. He sees the services of the Christian counselor as a resource to individuals, families and congregations.

David C. Williams, Ph.D., earned a doctorate in Guidance and Counseling from The Catholic University of America in Washington, DC. He is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and a Certified School Psychologist with the State of Maryland. In addition to counseling children and adults with Life Christian Counseling Network, Dr. Williams works as a School Psychologist with the Maryland State Department of Education, Juvenile Services Education Program. He has supervised and mentored counselors in the Counselor Education programs from area Christian and secular universities. He taught Teacher Education and Counselor Education courses at Trinity College in D.C. and for Regent University in Alexandria, VA. He founded and managed Christian Counseling Services in Damascus, MD. Dr. Williams specializes in child and family issues.
